An image like this one is definitely worth a thousand words. It shows the location of the flat at the center of most of the Parisian museums and monuments. The Louvre Museum is a 10 minute walk, and not any one. First you will discover the Place des Victoires, than walk through the Palais Royal garden, strolling along the same path Jean-Jacques Rousseau did with Diderot back in the 1740s (mainly arguing as it seem).

The left bank and St Germain des Prés is a 15mn walk away, either though the Pont des Arts, with its magnificent view over the Ile de la Cité, or through the Pont Neuf, with the discovery of the newly renovated Samaritaine department store (founded in 1870, now mainly an LVMH flagship).

Ile de la Cité and Notre Dame, well on its way for a 2024 full reconstruction, after the tragic fire of 2019, is 20mn away, walking along the Seine. From there, you can opt for the left bank (Montagne St Genevieve), or the right bank (Le Marais).

But what makes this location truly unique is the fact that on one end of the street you have the Pinault Collection Museum and the Louvre, and on the other you have the pedestrian rue Montorgueil area, famous for its many food stores, coffees and restaurants. On Sundays, there is an open market along the St Eustache Church, just around the corner from your home.
Here we have a selection of stuff we like about our place. If your are looking for something specific, don’t hesitate to ask.
