You will find an automated Jura coffee machine in the flat. It you enjoy good coffee, this should meet your expectations.
There is decent coffee beans in the Montorgueil supermarkets. however, should you be a seasoned amateur, we’d recommend that you try these stores:
- The Caféothèque of Paris, 52 rue de l’Hotel de Ville, 75004 (Le Marais)
Probably one of the first Parisian store who specialized in high end coffee, back in 2005. We love their “Pulcal” (is it Costa Rica ?). - Cafés Pfaff, 6 rue Sauval, 75001 (Just accros the Jardin des Halles)
A family business since the 30’s, dedicated to exclusive selection of the best Premium coffees. - Le Café Alain Ducasse, La Canopée, les Halles
A haute cuisine blend selection. We haven’t tried it for a while, but it was good.
The machine itself is pretty straighforward.
Every now and then, the machine will ask that you empty the coffee grown recipient. When this happen, you pull the front part toward you, and then you need to empty the rince recipient into the sink, and the coffee grown into the bin.

In case the machine asks for a cleaning cycle, either you are comfortable to do it (automated and pretty straightforward), either you tell Cecilia at the end of your stay.
