Being your own Chef

You will find everything you need, should you wish to prepare yourself a meal Ze french way (taking your time, talking profusely about it, and again while enjoying it). Of course you walked to the rue du Nil, or along the Rue Montorgueil for fresh supplies.

There is an induction cooktop, which is as versatile as gaz, only based on electricity. Then there are two ovens, one regular, the other steam. Unless you are familiar with steam cooking, maybe you want to pass on this one.

We mention the manuals here in the unlikely event that you’d like to use a hidden feature, as the buttons are really pretty standards.

There is also a Siemens heating drawer beneath the ovens, just to keep the food at serving temperature, or to pre-heat the plates. Beware that’s it’s easy to forget to switch it off after use (suggestion: first switch is off, then carry out what’s inside).

The dishwasher is the less convincing piece of appliance in the kitchen. We’d recommend that you only use it with the 70° cycle, and that you put the dose directly with the cutlery instead of into its dedicated space. In case you need to change some setting, the door needs to be closed for this.

All the paper manuals are in a bottom drawer in the kitchen.

There are lots of pans and pots in the kitchen drawers, don’t hesitate to look around, and also plenty of glasses and plates.
